Applications for ZrN Coatings

Zirconium Nitride is a very good ‘general purpose’ coating that bridges the gap in several applications. Aluminum and Titanium cutting and forming are two of ZrN’s best applications. ZrN also has very good corrosion resistance compared to other PVD coatings. ZrN is only meant to be used at slow to medium speeds with flood coolant.
