Applications for CrN Coatings

This is a great, low stress coating which can withstand high heat and has high abrasion resistance. This coating is primarily used for Metal Stamping application(s), as well as wear components. CrN can be applied thicker (up to .0004” / surface) than other coatings due to the low compressive stresses of the film.
